20 игроков "МЮ" вылетели в субботу утром в промо-тур по Америке. Эрик Джемба-Джемба, Фабьен Бартез и Микаэль Сильвестр остались вне этого тура, получив дополнительный отдых после Кубка конфедираций. Тим Ховард присоединится к команде непосредственно в США.

Juan Sebastian Veron was one of 20 United players who boarded the flight from Manchester to the USA on Saturday morning.

The Argentine star's future has been the subject of intense speculation for the past week or so, but his inclusion on the four-match tour of America should now end all the transfer talk.

There is only one new face among the twenty travelling from England, striker David Bellion, but another summer signing, goalkeeper Tim Howard, will join the party when they arrive in his native USA.

Eric Djemba-Djemba, meanwhile, is one of three players ordered to rest by Sir Alex Ferguson following their involvement in the Confederations Cup. The other two are Fabien Barthez and Mikael Silvestre. All three will link up with the rest of the Manchester United squad next month in Lisbon, their next port of call after the USA Tour.
